A Proof of Concept (PoC) is a targeted demonstration of feasibility: “Is this even possible – technically, functionally, or in terms of content?” At piparo, we use PoCs to test new features, technologies, or integrations before the actual product launch. This helps minimize risks, support decision-making, and justify investments – both on a technical and strategic level.

What’s the difference between a PoC and an MVP? A PoC proves that something works – usually from a technical or architectural standpoint. An MVP already delivers real user value. PoCs are often not yet polished or user-centered, but they’re highly effective for internal decision-making. How long does a PoC take? Typically 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the problem at hand. We deliver concise and focused results – often with a clickable demo, code documentation, or video walkthrough. Do I need a complete concept for the PoC? No – we help you formulate the relevant questions, prioritize them, and define measurable success criteria. Will a PoC be reused later? Often not directly in the production code – but as a technical foundation or decision-making template. In some cases, we transition directly from the PoC to the MVP.
