Problem

The initial situation.

For mobile RFID capture, a pure JavaScript stack is not enough: access to the NFC hardware requires a native module, and with it a build and distribution chain that goes beyond the standard Expo path.

Solution

How we solved it.

Piparo set up the app in React Native with TypeScript, integrated the native NFC/RFID module and chose the Expo Dev Client as the runtime. On top of that came a build pipeline via EAS, distribution via TestFairy and a documented local Docker and adb setup, so the team can develop and test close to the device.

Architecture
